• The tours are only open for CIMAC participants and their partner.
• English speaking tour guide.
• Light lunch for full day tours.
• Minimum number of participants per tour: 10 persons.
• Limited availability per tour, early booking is recommended.

 Level of activity

• Easy - Relaxed pace for classic sightseeing
• Moderate - Full day of sightseeing, requiring standing and walking for longer time (natural or historical sites)
• Active - Tour with main active element, such as hiking or biking. Walking over uneven and mountainous terrain, biking with moderate elevations. The participant should be physically fit and comfortable to walk 5-10 km. Adequate preparation according to specified instruction per tour required: suitable shoes, clothing, sunscreen, snacks and drinks.

Visit the Lindt Home of Chocolate Museum

Description

Your private bus will take you directly to the Lindt Home of Chocolate in Kilchberg. On the one-hour tour, you will learn all about the long journey of the cocoa bean from the growing region to Europe and how the cocoa fruit is processed into the finest chocolate. We will tell you how chocolate has conquered the world in its 5,000-year history and why Switzerland has become the most important chocolate country. In our glass chocolate factory, you can watch how we produce small chocolate bars and taste the finest chocolate to your heart's content in the exhibition. After you enjoyed the delicious chocolate, the boat will take you back to Zurich.

Description

Step out of the daily grind, and escape to Mount Rigi, located in the central heart of Switzerland. Enjoy your ride up to the top in a traditional cogwheel train. At the top, enjoy the breathtaking view over Lake Lucerne with the Alps in the background and stroll through the area.

The cogwheel takes you steeply downhill again, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch together. Before heading back to Zurich, take you some time to stroll along the lakeside promenade.
